Instructions for Use:
The electrodes have to be placed on the patient by a physician or an ECG techniclan.
Degreasing and mild skin abrasion is recommended for Stress Testing.
1.Select the placement site as specified by hospital or physician protocol for ECG
monitoring or diagnosis.Ensure that skin sites are dry,clean and free of excessive hair.
2.Connect the leadwires to the electrodes.
3.Remove the plastic cover and position the electrode on the skin.
4.Smooth tape,foam,or other backing with your finger as necessary.
5.Start ECG procedure.
6.Keep any unused electrodes in the original pouch.Close the opened pouch and
fold-over top of pouch once or twice.
Precautions:
Employ recommended procedures of electrosurgical or monitoring equipment Manufacturers to minimize risk of burns at electrode during electrosurgical procedures!
Do not place electrodes on skin sites with established erythema, lesions and injuries of any kind!
Do not use on patients with shown skin irritating effects in direct electrode contact and report any incompatibility reactions observed to the distributor !
Do not use if gel is dry !
Do not use the electrodes for more than 24 hours !
Storage:
Unused electrodes should be stored in the pouch with open end folded shut.
Store electrodes in a cool dry place.
Shelf life is two years when stored in proper conditions.
